After my last post about mountain huts I'm looking for honeymoon skiing this week.
While most of us imagine a stereotypical beach holiday and honeymoon, sun, sea and sand is not for everyone. A ski honeymoon could be the perfect alternative for those who do not have the benefit of the beach. This type of holiday would be especially good for couples to enjoy a little action, I love outdoors and be more active. There is also a luxury hand a honeymoon resort, with apres-ski, open fire and secluded private ski centers.
Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Canada
Couples can admire the natural beauty of the mountain chains Fairmont. Complete with rage peaks, high cliffs and blue lakes, which are covered with dazzling snow in the sun.
The Rocky Mountains offer fantastic skiing in three independent stations in the whole wilderness, just a short drive away. Skiers can choose from the drama of the Rocky Mountains in Jasper, Banff and Lake Louise, the tracks of Tremblant and Laurentian Charlevoix or the environment by inspiring, in Whistler, who was elected as America's best ski destinations choose from. There is snow to the waist and black diamond runs or rabbit hill, with hundreds of marked runs, short lift lines and a great selection of tracks. Ski lovers around the world come to experience skiing at the Fairmont.
For beginners or those who improve their skills and confidence on the slopes, is the Fairmont Snow School. The school will soon have to enjoy skiing safely and promotion to a higher level before you know it.
After an action day on the slopes newlyweds can retire with the luxury of The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, a stunning hotel in the style of a royal castle in Scotland. Relax and unwind in the hotel's spa - Willow Stream - a massage or relax in the Jacuzzi, your taste buds at the onsite restaurant or visit the casino at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu soon.
The Hotel Presidential Suite is the perfect setting for a honeymoon. The hotel is located on the roof of the hotel tower, which is only accessible by a private glass elevator. The suite has a marble lobby, walls, ceilings, fireplace, grand piano, Czechoslovakian crystal chandeliers and a spiral staircase to a loft library. They offer fantastic views of the surrounding mountains through the windows of the wrap-around, while couples can snuggle and keep warm fire or in bed with canopy with original European tapestries.
